The operations section is for the flying the drone layer — everything that happens between “the software stack is installed” and “the drone is in the air.” Two pages live here: a pre-flight checklist that covers the safety and sanity checks before every powered run, and running RL inference for the deployment step that takes a trained checkpoint and runs it on the companion PC in real time.
Both pages are currently placeholders — meaningful operational checklists require a real physical drone to operate, which is on the H2 2026 roadmap. In the meantime, the simulation-side equivalents are in the simulation section, and the inference pipeline that will eventually run on hardware is described conceptually under action_publisher_node and the RL framework root.
A note on operational discipline: the difference between a drone project that succeeds and one that ends in a wall full of propeller dents is mostly checklist discipline. Skip pre-flight checks once and you’ll get away with it; skip them ten times and you won’t. This is the section that exists to make that habit easier.
