I'm Aleksandr Pasko — a developer and researcher, not a drone domain expert. claudeDrone is where I work in the open on autonomous, GPS-denied indoor drone navigation: reinforcement learning, ArduPilot SITL, ROS 2 (Jazzy), and a cheap layered ToF sensor rig. Everything here is real engineering as I learn it — the bugs, the dead ends, and the validated results, documented as they happen.
claudeDrone — An autonomous mapping drone for GPS-denied environments — warehouses, tunnels, collapsed structures, anywhere a satellite signal can't reach. Built on ROS2, ArduPilot SITL, and a layered ToF sensor rig.
This site is the working knowledge base: engineering articles, a technical reference, and the reinforcement-learning training journal. It documents the real path — what worked, what didn't, and how the results were validated.
